Just A Simple Day

My godson’s summer homework was to interview his dad:

Q20. If you could relive one day of your life, what day would it be?

That’s a very hard question, there’s days I’d like to have again so I could do things differently, but what I would want most, is a day back with my dad. One of the days when it was just me and him going out to do a job (we worked together). We used to talk in the car, I’d watch and listen to him talk with people about a job, we’d get something to eat out; just a simple day.

I miss him. I’d love to have a day back with him, to listen and take it all in that bit more.
